Paye electronic filing & Real Time Information (RTI)
I use Moneysoft payroll software which allows me to file my clients year-end payroll returns electronically.
I have been filing RTI submissions to HMRC since 6th April 2013. I shall ensure that all my clients meet their filing obligations. HMRC will introduce a penalty regime for non-compliance from 6th April 2014.
Some businesses are required to complete form P11D – statement of Benefits in Kind. This gives details of any non-monetary benefits which are made available to employees. Examples of non-monetary benefits are private use of a vehicle, provision of accommodation, childcare, etc. The HMRC penalties for failing to submit a P11D where one is due are severe - £300 for each form plus £60 for each day the form is overdue.
